  • Device access: We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile's device camera and storage. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device's settings.
  • Push notifications: We may request to send you notifications regarding your account or certain features of the application. If you wish to opt out from receiving push notifications, you may do so in your device's settings.

Social media login data

When creating an account with Bandit, we may provide you with the option to use you existing social media account details, like Facebook, Google, Apple or other social media account. If you choose to register in this way, we will collect the information described in the section called How do we handle your social logins.

Information automatically collected

When using Bandit, we automatically collect information which does not reveal your specific identity, but may include the following:

  • Device data: We may collect device model and brand, IP address, device and application identification numbers, location, mobile carrier, operating system, system configuration information.
  • Usage data: We may collect system logs, error logs, pages navigation, other actions and interactions with the application.
  • Location data: We may collect location data such as information about your device's location, which can be either precise or imprecise based. You can opt out of allowing us to collect this information by refusing access to the information or by disabling your location setting on your device. However, if you chose to opt out, you will not be able to use the core functionality of the application.

4. When and with whom do we share your personal information?

We only share your personal information with third party providers that we use to perform services:

  • Vendors, Consultants, and other third-party service providers: We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents ('third parties') who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. We have contracts in place with our third parties, which are designed to help safeguard your personal information. This means that they cannot do anything with your personal information unless we have instructed them to do it. They will also not share your personal information with any organisation apart from us. They also commit to protect the data they hold on our behalf and to retain it for the period we instruct. To use Bandit, we offer you the ability to register and log in using your third-party social media account details (like your Facebook, Google or Apple). If you choose to do this, we will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. The profile information we receive may vary depending on the social media provider concerned, but will often include your name, email address, and profile picture, as well as other information you choose to make public on such a social media platform.

We will use the information we receive only for the purposes that are described in this privacy notice or that are otherwise made clear to you on the relevant Services. Please note that we do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your personal information by your third-party social media provider. We recommend that you review their privacy notice to understand how they collect, use, and share your personal information, and how you can set your privacy preferences on their sites and apps.

6. How long do we keep your information?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than the period of time in which users have an account with us.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

8. Do we collect information from minors?

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using our services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of our services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. 10. Controls for Do-Not-Track features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ('DNT') feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.

11. Do California residents have specific privacy rights?

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the 'Shine The Light' law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to us using the contact information provided below.

If you reside in California, and have a registered account with our services, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the services. If you ask us to delete your personal information, we will respect your request and delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions provided by law, such as (but not limited to) the exercise by another consumer of his or her right to free speech, our compliance requirements resulting from a legal obligation, or any processing that may be required to protect against illegal activities.

Verification process
